Summary

[edit]
Description

The Sanibel Island Lighthouse is located on Lighthouse Point on Sanibel Island. This is a skeletal iron tower that was first lit in 1884. The original lens is no longer in place. It was replaced with a 300mm optic.

Yup. That white stuff on the wall of the watch room is osprey poop. The osprey on the island like to perch on the railing.
