Description
English: The Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) on the Suomi NPP satellite captured this image, with a true color, artificial color of Hurricane Sandy, over the northeastern states, a day after landfall. In this image, north is the top, and south is the bottom of the image.
