English: Sandstone sculpture, Bigbury on Sea beach This mass of sandstone bears a resemblance to some massive effigy, long since fallen into a faint form of its previous glory. The greyer shape at the base looks like a gigantic foot or paw. The Sphinx at Gizeh comes to mind. However, the erosion has produced a form capable of many interpretations. |
