| Description |
English: Sand in the mist below Stowe Cliffs We checked the tide table - a low tide only 0.3 metres above the lowest, and low tide at 11.45, so we set out an hour before low tide to walk from Sandy Mouth to Crooklets Beach at Bude keeping in the most westerly grid squares - which meant that soon after taking this photo we were splashing barefoot through the streams and pools on the sand. Because of the mist we couldn't see the cliffs, so we were navigating by GPS. |
