Took this at about 1:30AM this past summer on my hiking/camping trip in Colorado's Great Sand Dunes National Park. After a harrowing hour or two in the tiny tent as a big storm blew over us, my buddy Jed and I decided to go out for a little midnight jaunt! Brought the JD, some schnapps, and my kite. Hiked the highest due we could find, and started flying around. It was a blast! Met some people up there who had never flown a power kite before, and I sincrely enjoyed watching the kite pick them up and launch them down the dune's face. Not a bad Saturday night!
