Description
English: This is a small hand-held brass sanctus bell. In this photograph, the bell was produced in 1958 and is used in a chapel of an Episcopal cathedral. This bell is sitting on a credence table.

During a service, a server (see Laity) will ring this bell at several points during a church service, as he/she has been told to do by the rector or dean.
