English: Sanctuary of Prasat Ban Phluang. Reign of Udayadityavarman II, 1050-1066. This is a Khmer temple in Thailand. The temple is unfinished, lacking both a tower and an entrance hall. A central arm of the platform, where the east-facing entrance hall would have been located, projects out towards the viewer. The smoke in this photo is from burning refuse fires. |
