Marigolds in Santa Ynez Valley. In 2003, I took a different route. Bypassed Gaviota. Owner of a bike shop in Buellton, suggested this back route into Santa Barbara from Lompoc. I met him up the road in Big Sur. Rather than taking Highway 1 to the coast, follow Santa Ynez Valley east and drop down into Santa Barbara from Highway 154. It was quiet and delightful as well. |
