Description

San Miguel de Breamo es una curiosa construcción románica perfectamente conservada.

Tiene planta de cruz latina y la cabecera tiene tres ábsides, siendo el central mucho más alto que los laterales.

Lo primero que llama la atención es su solidez. Apenas hay vanos de iluminación y la puerta de ingreso -en el muro occidental- es estrecha y sin las habituales arquivoltas que dan sensación de amplitud al vano. Esto, junto a su planta angulosa con multitud de contrafuertes, confiere a San Miguel de Breamo una estampa de templo-fortaleza. (Arteguias)
