Description Esta iglesia está en Valdebárzana, concejo de Villaviciosa, Asturias. Fue fundada en 1189 según la inscripción de la imagen que se conserva en el muro sur. El texto traducido según Francisco Diego Santos es: "Martín, sacerdote pecador, y los hijos de la iglesia. Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos. En la Era MCCXXVII, la consagró el obispo Rodrigo, el primer domingo de agosto. Padre nuestro". La cronología usada es esta inscripción no es la actual sino la de la llamada "era hispánica". Hay que restar 38 años para transformar estas fechas a la cronología actual (es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Era_hisp%C3%A1nica)
