Memorial on west wall. (Stone Memorial) Erected A.D. 1855 by Guy STONE of Barn-Hill TO THE MEMORY OF his immediate Ancestors

Samuel STONE, Esquire. Major in H.M. 32nd (Cornwall) Regiment (Only son of Guy Stone of Brookend nr (Berkeley) in the County of Gloucestershire)

After many years of active service in Scotland, Germany and Flanders. Died at Killyleagh, (County Down) December 1757 aged 63 years and is buried within the church of that town. and his wife, Margaret, otherwise STEWART who died at Dublin March 1735 aged 42 years and is buried in St Andrew’s Church-Yard in that city.

The reverend Guy STONE, M.A. of Barn Hill (eldest son of the above). Prebemdary of Kilroot, in the Diocese of Connor and for 26 years, curate or incumbent of this parish and that of Newtownards; Died 5th June 1779 aged 61 years. and his wife Margaret STONE otherwise BRYANTON who died 15th February 1803 aged 72 years. They both are buried within these walls.

Samuel STONE Esquire (Eldest son of above ) Who during 32 years, was successively Adjutant, Captain and Paymaster of the Londonderry Militia. Died at Derry 16 January 1825 aged 63 years and in buried in the Cathedral yard of that city. His wife Anne STONE otherwise WEBB who died at Belfast 11 December 1810 aged 32 years and is buried within these walls Note He is also commemorated on a family memorial in St Mary the Virgin Churchyard, Bromsberrow Gloucestershire. http://places.wishful-thinking.org.uk/GLS/Bromsberrow/MIs.html
