English: Long sampler embroidered in brown, blue, green, yellow and red silks on a natural linen ground. Alphabets in cross and eyelet stitch; birds, flowers, animals, and boxing figures in cross stitch with some satin stitch and detached needle looping; floral bands in cross stitch and satin stitch. The ground fabric is pieced across the middle.
