Abstract: Print shows Sam Houston, full-length portrait, standing with arms crossed, facing front. Includes facsimile signature and quote "I wish no epitaph to be written to tell that I survived the ruin of this glorious Union." Physical description: 1 print : tinted lithograph ; sheet 43.7 x 33.1 cm.

Notes: Publication date based on copyright statement on item.; Stamped on lower right in oval "Smithsonian Institution" and inscribed in ink "132".; Stamped on verso: L.C.
