| Description |
Deutsch: Der Petersfriedhof besteht vermutlich schon seit der zeit um 700 nach Christus. Die Gruftarkaden wurden im 17. Jahrhundert errichtet. In der Felswand am Rande des Friedhofs befinden sich die sogenannten Katakomben. Sie wurden aber nie als Grabstätte benutzt sondern dienten als Versammlungsorte. Die Katakomben bestehen aus der Communegruft, der Gertraudenkapelle und der Maximuskapelle.
English: Petersfriedhof has probably existed since around 700 AD. The crypt arcades were built in the 17th century. The so-called catacombs are located in the rock face above the cemetery. However, they were never used as a burial place but served as early Christian meeting places. The catacombs consist of the Communegruft, the Gertraudenkapelle and the Maximuskapelle
