Summary
[edit]DescriptionSaltner der Weinberger in Festkleidung 19 Jahrhundert.jpg |
Deutsch: Saltner (Weinhüter, Südtirol) in Festkleidung. 19. Jh.
"Ihm geben Kreizer a comprar tabacco; dann still sein, gut Freund". In: Der Schlern 79 (2005), Heft 8/9, S.88-104. Siehe beispielsweise auch sagen.at Ludwig von Hörmann, 1872. English: Saltner (guardian of vineyards in South Tyrol) in festive costume, 19th century. The [standard equipment] wroughtiron cross laying at his feet was not only for spiritual protection, but would also be used as a weapon, in case of emergency (says museum's note).
