| Description |
English: Saltend Flyover at Night, Salt End, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.This flyover is unusual in that it's only for westbound traffic! This is to prevent traffic holdups, as in the past in the mornings, when traffic bound for the Saltend industrial site conflicted with Hull-bound traffic from the east on the old roundabout. The new system works very well... although it would have been even better had the flyover been designed for two-way traffic as it could have prevented traffic problems late in the afternoon too when the main traffic flow is reversed! |
