| Description |
Deutsch: Oben: Verlauf des Membranpotentials in Abhängigkeit von der Entfernung vom Ort der Erregung. An den Ranvier'schen Schnürringen des in der Mitte gezeichneten Neurons wird die Membran durch die Erregung am vorangegangenen Schnürring ausreichend depolarisiert, d.h. das Schwellenpotential wird überschritten, und es kommt zur Öffnung spannungsabhängiger Na+-Kanäle (nicht eingezeichnet). Dadurch wird das Aktionspotential regeneriert und der nächste Schnürring wird überschwellig erregt.
Unten: Zeitverlauf bei Fortleitung der Erregung: Vor allem die Regeneration der Potentialdifferenz an den Ranvier'schen Schnürringen ist zeitaufwändig, während die Erregungsleitung dazwischen fast ohne Zeitverlust passiert. |
