Español: La Salicornia, también conocida como "alacranera", "hierba salada", "hierba de cristal", "hierba del jabón" o "espárrago del mar", es una planta halófila, capaz de regular la sal que absorben del agua, bien sea bloqueando en las raíces el paso de la sal a la savia vascular, bien sea excretando el exceso de sal; es, por tanto, capaz de crecer en suelo con un alto contenido en sal, como las marismas. Por eso su sabor es... salado. |
