| Description |
English: Construction at Salem station in October 2013. The site is being prepared for the parking garage, while at right the interlocking tower is being restored. The steel structure in the foreground formerly carried a set of steps to the station platform, which has been cut back to the section shown in the distance while construction is underway on a new high-level platform. |
