| Description |
English: Church of Saint Peter in Saldaña (Palencia, Castile and León). Work in the mid-16th, when carried the seat and the Funeral Chapel attached to the presbytery. Part of the Church was covered at this time with a Mudejar coffered ceiling. Will be in the 17TH century when construction is complete (or amend the existing) and added chapels, replacing the decks, etc. Reforms are continuing in the centuries following, most notably the construction of a new cover, and culminates with their rehabilitation in the Decade of the eighties of the 20th century into Museum, where the objects discovered in the Roman villa of la Olmeda are exposed.
Español: Iglesia de San Pedro en Saldaña (Palencia, Castile and León). Obra de mediados del XVI, cuando se levantan la cabecera y la capilla funeraria adosada al presbiterio. Parte de la iglesia se cubrió en este momento con un artesonado mudéjar. Será a lo largo del siglo XVII cuando se complete su construcción (o se modifique la ya existente) y se añadan capillas, se sustituyan las cubiertas, etc. Las reformas continúan en las centurias siguientes, destacando la construcción de una nueva portada, y culminan con su rehabilitación en la década de los ochenta del siglo XX para convertirla en museo, donde se exponen los objetos descubiertos en la villa romana de La Olmeda. |
