Description

Stained glass in the Church of St Paul, Shipley, West Yorkshire, England. Showing the east window, manufactured by "F. Barnett of Edinburgh", probably Francis Barnett of Barnett & Son, York, 1858/9 (the father was John Josepgh Barnett (1786-1859). It cost £300. The top row of figures represents Jesus and six apostles. The next visible row represents seven events from the life of Jesus. The bottom row is hidden by the reredos and pannelling, and represents St Pail and six more apostles. The window is dedicated to surnames Horsfall, Hodgson, Greenwood, Fawcett, Browne, Smith and Hargreaves.
