Summary
[edit]DescriptionSaint Matthew Bankfoot (102).JPG |
Stained glass in St Matthew's Church, Carr Bottom Road, Bankfoot, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The building was designed by Mallinson and Healey, and completed in 1849. The dedication says: "This window is erected to the Glory of God and in loving memory of our dear parents William and Elizabeth Sharp by their surviving children, 1900." Note: This was possibly William Sharp (1824-1900), a refined worsted spinner who died aged 76 years in Bradford. In 1871 he lived at 315 Bowling Old Lane, with his wife Elizabeth (b.1834) and three children: Walter Harrison, Mary Hannah, and Emily. |
