English: Caption on image: St. Mary's Hospital & Church Filed in Yukon Territory This hospital began as a small endeavour to serve the people of Dawson in 1898 during the gold rush. It was expanded several times by The Sisters of St. Ann after the gold rush. The early building burned in 1955 and was reopened in another old building in town. The Sisters left the Yukon in the late 1960's.
