  • Giuseppe Valmori, Florence, January 1868;
  • Acquired by A.C. Onslow, 30 June 1868, on behalf of
  • Mr Longfield (probably Richard Edmund Longfield, b. 1842), Longueville House, Mallow, County Cork, Ireland (according to an inscription on the reverse);
  • Thence by descent, until acquired by the grandfather of the present owner, and by descent.
