Description
Français : Photo d'une rue typique du Pays Basque. Prise à St Jean Pied de Port (64). Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (en basque Donibane Garazi) est une commune française située dans le département des Pyrénées-Atlantiques, en région Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port doit son nom à sa situation au pied du port de Roncevaux (alt. 1 057 m), en territoire espagnol. La ville est située au confluent de la Nive et du Laurhibar.

Le gentilé est Donibandar1 (ou Donibanegaraztar1).

Ancienne capitale politique et administrative de la Basse-Navarre d' « Ultrapuertos » (c'est-à-dire d' « Outre-monts »), c'est aujourd'hui un centre d'échanges et d'activités culturelles et sportives basques.

En 2016, la commune a été admise à rejoindre l’association Les Plus Beaux Villages de France2.
