Description
English: Cassini map (18th century), detail in sheet for Laval, published 1766-1768. Centered on Saint-Brice, Mayenne departement. Bellebranche abbey (cistercian) about 1 mi. above Saint-Brice. Town of Sablé near bottom right corner, with the straight road to Laval going N-W. from Sablé. The Taude river goes through Saint-Brice, flowing in a general N-W to S-E direction, towards the Sarthe river. The "ruisseau de l'étang de Curecy", a tributary of the Taude, flows by the abbey.

Ville de Sablé en bas à droite, avec la route rectiligne vers Laval remontant vers le nord-ouest depuis Sablé. La rivière Taude arrose Saint-Brice et coule généralement N-O / S-E, vers la rivière Sarthe.
