English: U.S. Sailors assigned to the navigation division aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Cleveland (LPD 7) raise signal flags during a flag hoist drill June 19, 2010, while under way in the Pacific Ocean. Cleveland and the guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) were under way enroute to Hawaii to support Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercises. RIMPAC is a biennial multinational exercise designed to strengthen regional partnerships and improve multinational interoperability. |
