Description

ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 4, 2017) Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2 and Expeditionary Mine Countermeasures Company (ExMCM Co.) 202, attach tow lines to a Mark 18 Mod. 2 Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) during an ExMCM training exercise. ExMCM Co. 202 consists of an EODMU-2, MCM platoon, Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2, Unmanned Systems Platoon, and the Naval Oceanography Mine Warfare Center (NOMWC) Post Mission Analysis Cell. EODMU-2 provides credible, combat-ready EOD forces capable of deploying anywhere, anytime in support of national interests.
