Summary

Description	SAN DIEGO (April 10, 2013) Capt. Thomas Ishee, right, commander of Submarine Squadron (SUBRON) 11; Vicki Billings, daughter of Lt. Cmdr. John Hilary Billings, one of the 129 men who died aboard the U.S. Navy submarine USS Thresher (SSN 593); and other members of the official party render honors as Musician 1st Class Christopher Hodges, from Tuscaloosa, Ala., plays "Taps," during a memorial service for the 50th anniversary of the loss of Thresher. The ceremony honored the 129 men lost on Thresher, which sank off the coast of Cape Cod on April 10, 1963 during sea trials.
