English: Safe in Trustworthy hands Within the past decade, the National Trust bought a swathe of pastureland bordering the scenic lower Stour Valley, the section often called Dedham Vale. It includes the field painted by Constable in his second most famous painting (arguably, at least):"The Cornfield" and has views across to Lawford, Dedham and Stratford St Mary. |
