English: Sadly no biscuits at Miss Caplens A dear old lady who was in the church choir with me lived in the house on the right. My friend Derek and I used to call for her on our way to St Peter's and there was always a biscuit or two for us. Years later I found out my wife's uncle had been evacuated there during the war. |
