English: Flag of the Sadiavahy, an anti-colonialist movement in French Madagascar, active between 1910 and 1915; it was centered on the southern Malagasy people, primarily Antandroy, Mahafaly and Bara (all of whom are represented by the violet on the flag; red stands for the island as a whole). Based on reproductions and historical note in Lucien Philippe, "Flags of Political Parties and Movements in Madagascar. From the Colonization until Independence", in Vexilobaires 2005.
