English: Saddlery - probably WW1 period spurs- pair of spurs with leather straps and boot guards (tabs) nickel-plated; smooth “British sixpence-coin” rowels; black leather spur straps with one black leather butterfly; hinged buckles; heel chains; missing parts- one leather butterfly missing markings- NICKEL, impressed on one side of outer heel band close to terminal; stylised spur mark with MR inside heel band, impressed on other side of outer heel band close to terminal, possibly a maker’s mark
