Description
Deutsch: Sachsenrieder-Bähnle-Infotafel an Siechenhalde nördlich der Schongauer Altstadt, mit Blick über dieselbe. Der Radwanderweg verläuft hier westlich des Schongauer Krankenhauses am Hochufer der prähistorischen Lechs, der hier nach dem Durchbruch südlich des Altstadtbergs trockengefallen war. Die namengehende Bahntrasse verläuft hier kurz nach ihrem an einer noch vorhandenen Weiche kenntlichen Abzweig von der Strecke Schongau–Landsberg etwa 50 Meter weiter nördlich durch die Äcker.
Thema der Infotafel ist das Bahnbetriebswerk, das früher als Teil des Bahnhofs Schongau existierte.
