Summary

Description

This is an example of how to draw pentagons in SVG without using approximated coordinates. The pentagons are composed of single beveled lines in a mathematically correct manner. Restrictions:

  • The shapes cannot be filled
  • The argument stroke-linejoin cannot be used

Please note:

  • line-width will be multiplied by scale, which is the resulting pentagon's edge length
  • I haven't found a way to translate the pentagon's center to the exact origin, this is still achieved using floating point approximations
