The original finding aid described this as: Description: Survey views of the Mir space station taken by the STS-86 orbiter Atlantis include: Dark views of the Kvant 2 module (001-3). Dark view of the Docking module and Kristall, with partial views of the Kvant 2, Spektr and Base Block modules (004-10). Soyuz spacecraft docked to the Mir's central node with the Spektr module also in the field of view (011-6). Spektr module taken from undamaged side (017-9, 032-7). Docking module and Kristall with trusses and arrays (020-5). Soyuz spacecraft docked to the Mir's central node (026-8). Kvant 2 module (029-31, 041-3). View looking down on to the docking module with other modules also visible (038-40, 050-3). Base Block module (044-46). Progress resupply vessel docked to the Kvant module (047-9, 089-91). Spektr module taken from undamaged side (paint flaking from radiator (054-7). Spektr solar array with solar panels (SP4) bent at an angle (048-63).
