The original finding aid described this as: Description: Photographic documentation showing earth observations taken during the STS-53 mission from the space shuttle Discovery. scenic moonrise scene was taken over the Coastal Mountain Range, British Columbia (56.0N, 135W) and shows the moon at the day/night terminator. The moon appears as a tiny dot on the earth limb, partially intersected by the thin blue line of airglow (093).
