English: The cargo ship SS Iberville off Baltimore, Maryland (USA), 10 May 1943, just prior to conversion for use by the U.S. Navy. She later became the attack transport USS Sumter (APA-52). As seen here, she is a typical war standard C2-S-E1 cargo ship.
