English: SS City of Brooklyn. Built in 1868, Glasgow, by Tod & McGregor. Owned and operated by Inman Line. Maiden voyage 1871 Liverpool – Queenstown – New York. Sold to Dominion Line in 1878 and renamed Brooklyn. Wrecked on 8 November 1885 on Anticosti Island, no lives lost. |
