Description
English: It was installed in 1909 on Znamenskaya square in front of Nikolayevsky (now Moscow) station in honor of Emperor Alexander the Third, who ordered the construction of a railway across Siberia.

The author of the project is the Italian architect Paolo Trubetskoy.

Under the Bolsheviks, the monument was removed from its pedestal and stored in one of the courtyards of the Russian Museum.

Currently installed in the garden in front of the Marble Palace.
Русский: Установлен в 1909 году на Знаменской площади перед Николаевским (ныне Московским) вокзалом в честь Императора Александра Третьего, повелевшего начать строительство железной дороги через всю Сибирь.

Автор проекта – итальянский архитектор Паоло Трубецкой.

При большевиках памятник был снят с постамента и хранился в одном из дворов Русского музея.

В настоящее время установлен в саду перед Мраморным дворцом.
Deutsch: Es wurde 1909 auf dem Znamenskaya Square vor dem Nikolaev (jetzt Moskau) Bahnhof zu Ehren von Kaiser Alexander dem Dritten gegründet, der befohlen hat, mit dem Bau der Eisenbahn durch ganz Sibirien zu beginnen.

Der Autor des Projekts ist der italienische Architekt Paolo trubecki.

Unter den Bolschewiki wurde das Denkmal vom sockel entfernt und in einem der Höfe des Russischen Museums aufbewahrt.

Derzeit im Garten vor dem Marmorpalast installiert.
