Description
Simple English: Chromolithographic print after a design by Henri Rivière, engraved by The Studio issue 68, July 1898. This image originaly belongs to a serie comming from of La Marche à l'étoile, mystère en 10 tableaux, a shadow play show created at Rodolphe Salis' Le Chat Noir in 1893, then published in Paris by Enoch & Cie / Marpon & Flammarion in 1899, as an album which contains 17 lithographic prints by Rivière + poems & music by Georges Fragerolle.
