English: Stephen Russell, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command chief technology officer; Wanda Parise, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific employee and coordinator of the FLL Qualifying Tournament; SSC Pacific Executive Officer Capt. Gisele Bonitz; SSC Pacific Guam Detachment Officer in Charge Lt. Cmdr. Jerome McConnon; SSC Pacific Outreach Director Jim Rohr; and SSC Pacific Command Master Chief Rose Rulon volunteered their time at the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology Lego League Qualifying Tournament at East Lake High School in Chula Vista, Calif., Nov. 16, 2014. SPAWAR co-hosted the sixth annual FLL Qualifying Tournament, with more than 40 SPAWAR volunteers serving as coaches, mentors, judges and referees to the 22 FLL teams participating in the event.
