Description
English: 104R Marconi plain tuner (medium wave tuner, 100 to 2500 meters), Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Co., UK c. 1910, SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention, Bellingham, Washington, U.S. The device, made before active amplification was possible, receives electromagnetic pulse through a tuned LC contour, and feeds it into a magnetic on-off detector. The same receiver could be also fitted with a more sensitive crystal detector [1]
