English: STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. -- Master Chief Petty Officer Richard Puglisi, senior enlisted advisor of U.S. Special Operations Command Africa, greets Carlos Ojeda, counter-narcotics plans and operations specialist for U.S. Africa Command, during a recent visit to the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.
SOCAF Commander Bg. Donald C. Bolduc and Puglisi attended the recent graduation of NAVSCIATTS' Strategic Leaders International Course, with Bolduc serving as the keynote speaker. Also in attendance were contingencies from militaries and law enforcement agencies in Nigeria, Tunisia and Jamaica, with Muhammad Abdallah, chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Nigeria serving as the keynote speaker for the Class 17-2 graduation, held at the Diamondhead Country Club in Diamondhead, Mississippi, on March 9. SLIC is NAVSCIATTS' flagship course designed to advance and further develop the strategic thinking and planning skills of international military leaders and civilian equivalent Partner Nation personnel from government and law enforcement agencies. NAVSCIATTS is a Security Cooperation schoolhouse operating under the U.S. Special Operations Command in support of Foreign Security Assistance and Geographic Combatant Commanders' Theater Security Cooperation. NAVSCIATTS trains and educates Partner Nation special operations forces, SOF-like forces and SOF enablers across the tactical, operational and strategic spectrums through in-residence and Mobile Training Team courses of instruction.
