Description

The Rolleiflex SLX truly is an UNUSUAL camera. Looks like a box (a heavy one) with a lens attached and the thing is LOUD.

Dusted off the 55mm Micro-Nikkor; I feel the lens also qualifies for unusual. Hefty, plasticky, but amazing. Don't really see the lens being used or available for sale much.

I've come to really appreciate taking pictures with vintage cameras; I like to imagine how they were lovingly (or not) used by previous owners... what did they see? What experiences did they capture? What beautiful history was recorded? Eventually the previous owner decides they've enjoyed the camera enough and the idea that I can help bring it back to life just feels great. I still need to be banned from vintage camera and antique stores though.
