Description
Deutsch: Bergenhus-Scharfschütze, 1814
English: Mannequin dressed in a replica (reconstructed) uniform of a Norwegian sharpshooter' 1814 on display at the Bergenhus Fortress Museum in Bergen, Norway. The Danish-Norwegian army was reorganized in 1810. The soldiers from Lærdal and Voss were placed under the Norwegian ranger corps. They became a separate battalion with the name Bergenhus sharpshooter battalion (of the Bergenhus Regiment). The uniform was gray, and arms consisted of sharp shooter rifle with Hirschgfänger, a hunting dagger.

Norsk bokmål: Utstillingsdokke i rekonstruert uniform for en bergenhusisk skarpskytter 1814 utstilt i Bergenhus festningsmuseum ved Bergenhus festning i Bergen. Den dansk-norske hæren ble omorganisert i 1810. Soldatene fra Lærdal (Lærdalske lette kompani) og Voss (vossiske bataljon) ble lagt under Norske Jægerkorps. De ble en egen bataljon med navnet Bergenhusiske skarpskytterbataljon. Uniformen var grå, og beværpingen bestod av skarpskytterrifle med hirschgfenger - et kort jaktsverd. Se ellers side 37 i Erik C.
