Description
Deutsch: Altstadt von Siegen/Westfalen: Osthälfte des Marktplatzes mit „Germania“-Denkmal. Auf der Freifläche hinter dem Denkmal hatte sich bis zu seiner Zerstörung durch einen Großbrand im Jahr 1869 der Häuserblock „Klubb“ befunden. Heute befindet sich dort die Alfred-Fissmer-Anlage. Die Häuserzeile im Hintergrund trug die Adresse „Saumarkt“; im Haus ganz rechts befand sich die erste Niederlassung der Siegener Zeitung. Anonymes Foto aus dem Jahr 1890.
