[edit]DescriptionSEAT Ibiza and a Blackburn Buccaneer XW530 (49361110912).jpg |
The car is my 2014 Ibiza Estate driven 1,500 miles from Spain to Northern Scotland. The Buccaneer aircraft is permanently located beside the Buccaneer Garage in Elgin Scotland which is close to RAF Lossiemouth where the jet flew from. Buccaneers were used by the Royal Navy and later the Royal Air Force during the period 1962-1994 and were designed to carry nuclear weapons. After it was taken out of use it was bought by the garage owner and towed early one morning along the road from the airfield. Pictures of the journey made local news. |
