English: Soldiers with Civil Military Operations, 1-178th Field Artillery Battalion, South Carolina Army National Guard work with the Afghan National Police, July 8, to unload eight crates of humanitarian aid for 170 children living at the Badam Bagh Women's Correction's Center in Kabul province. The humanitarian assistance drop was coordinated by Joint Task Force 435 through the Ministry of Justice. The Guardsmen from South Carolina delivered blankets, clothing, shoes, school supplies, heaters, hygiene kits and toys donated by non-governmental organizations. |
