Description
Raúl Pateras Pescara und sein Bruder Enrique Pescara gründeten 1918 in Barcelona die Fábrica Nacional de Automóviles S.A. und stellten Ende der 20er Jahre verschiedene Modelle von Personenwagen her. 1933 zog Raúl Pateras Pescara in die Schweiz und offerierte der SLM die Übernahme der Fabrikationsrechte. Die SLM verpflichtete sich zur Herstellung von drei Prototypen. Der Ausflug in die Welt der Automobile endete jedoch bereits mit der Fertigstellung von nur einem Wagen, da der Motor einige Mängel aufwies und die Probefahrten die Unzulänglichkeit eines Getriebes mit nur zwei Vorwärtsgängen zeigten.
